For which we have been unable to find a side or back view; she wanted said viewing profiles which is shown more clearly in the costume profile

My internet finally stopped being pathetic and allowed me to upload this pattern :'3

If you wish to have a pattern or costume profile of your own produced, please visit my profile for commission information <3

Pattern sizing help:

Here’s a tutorial I made on making body contouring patterns
even for less fitted things it can be used to make a simple pattern to size up all my pattern drafts on

hi! absolutely LOVE this dress design. but as u said it is fan made. I was wondering, even though this is a commission, are we still allowed to use the pattern??? also since it is a fan art and NOT canon from what i have been told , are we allowed to make/cosplay this dress at all?????? is there permission from the artist???? is anyone allowed to cosplay this dress??? I would LOVE to , but i am just concerned about copy right laws and not getting in trouble with the original artist/designer. So i would greatly appreciate some input, weather if we are allowed to cosplay this or not.

Thanks!

Technically, You are allowed to cosplay whatever you wish on the grounds that what you make isn't going to be perfectly exact to the original~ you're not stealing the design, the only time you're stealing a design is if you make a cosplay and say, I made this character.
That is all.

What song is this dress shown in? What is the name of the dress? I really need to know, I'm displaying in it and I want to know the name.

LOVE this dress! But do you know if this is one of her official outfits? And from what song?

I'm afraid I don't, I assume it's fanart though, as there is only one image of it x

These patterns of yours are amazing, I'm a little confused by one thing though. Do the half circles on a piece of pattern mean that the fabric has been folded over before hand so you would be getting two of that piece joined in the middle? So like if the circle was really drawn there and you folded it out there would be a whole circle...

I'm sorry if that made no sense at all, eh hehe

Thank you, and sorry for the confusion.

Your assumption is correct about the full circle, the semi-circles represent a cut along fold
so the semi-circle side is cut in-line with a folded edge to produce a reflected shape of the pattern piece without a seam
:3

I'm pretty sure you already understand it and I hope by messaging back I will have assured you, but ahhh~ it's a funny thing to explain, it's hard to explain it without getting horribly long winded~
If I've only sought to confuse you further, this may help x
